1. God LOVES you and has a PLAN for you to know Him personally.
God's Love
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed.” - John 3:16
God's Plan
“And eternal life is this: to know you, the one true God, and him whom you sent, Yeshua the Messiah.” - John 17:3
What prevents us from knowing God personally?

2. People are SINFUL and SEPARATED from God so we cannot know Him personally or experience His love.
People are Sinful
“All have sinned and come short of earning God's praise." - Romans 3:23
People were created to have fellowship with God; but, because of our own stubborn self wills, we chose to go our own independent way, and fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is an evidence of what the Scriptures calls sin.
People are Separated
“For what one earns from sin is death.” - Romans 6:23
“Then he will punish those who don't know God, that is, those who don't listen to the Good News of our Lord Yeshua and obey it. They will suffer the just penalty of eternal destruction, far away from the face of the Lord and the glory of his might.” - 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9
This picture shows that God is Holy. It shows people are sinful. There is a big separation between God and people. The arrows are people continually trying to reach God and establish a personal relationship with Him through their own efforts. This can be through religion or doing good deeds. But everyone fails to reach God.

3. Yeshua the Messiah is God's only provision for our sin. Through Him alone we can know God personally and experience God's love.
He Died in Our Place
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in that the Messiah died on our behalf while we were still sinners." - Romans 5:8
He Rose From the Dead
"The Messiah died for our sins, in accordance with what the Tanakh (i.e. Scriptures) says; and he was buried; and he was raised on the third day, in accordance with what the Tanakh says; and he was seen by Kefa (i.e. Peter), then by the Twelve; and afterwards he was seen by more than five hundred brothers at one time..." - 1 Corinthians 15:3-6
He Is the Only Way to God
"Yeshua said, "I AM the Way -- and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through me." - John 14:6
This separation keeps us away from God. This picture shows that God has made a way over the separation. The only way is Yeshua the Messiah. God sent His Son, Yeshua the Messiah, to die for us. He died in our place to pay for our sins.
He is the Way.
But…
It is not enough…
…to simply know these three things...
Take Action!
Just like we must breath, eat, and drink for ourselves, we must individually RECEIVE Yeshua the Messiah as our Lord; then we can know God personally and experience His love..
We can NOT live without Him.
We Must Receive Yeshua.
”But to as many as did receive him, to those who put their trust in his person and power, he gave the right to become children of God.” - John 1:12
We Receive Yeshua Through Faith
”For you have been delivered by grace through trusting, and even this is not your accomplishment but God's gift. You were not delivered by your own actions; therefore no one should boast.” - Ephesians 2:8-9
We Receive Yeshua by Personal Invitation
[Yeshua speaking] "Here, I'm standing at the door, knocking. If someone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he will eat with me." (Revelation 3:20).
Receiving Yeshua involves turning from a self-directed life to put God in control of our life (called repentance) and trusting Yeshua to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. Just to agree with our minds (intellectually) that Yeshua the Messiah is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for our sins - that is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. We must receive Yeshua the Messiah by faith, as an act of the will.
These two circles represent the two kinds of lives:
THE SELF DIRECTED LIFE
S - SELF is on the throne
Interests are directed by Self, resulting in discord, frustration
Y - Yeshua (the Cross) is outside the life
THE YESHUA DIRECTED LIFE
Y - YESHUA (the Cross) is on the throne
S - Self is yielding to Yeshua
Interests are directed by Yeshua, resulting in harmony with God's plan

You Can Receive Yeshua Right Now by Faith Through Prayer

God knows your heart and is not as concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer:
"Lord Yeshua, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be."
